no, actually it was created by several members of eicar (makes sense,
don't it?)...
eicar is something like caro except it's a lot more formalized and you
have to pay dues and such and it's open to a larger member base (while
caro is only open to trusted individuals)

probably a necessity... my guess is that there's at least one scanner
out there that will refuse to scan non-executable files...
... video games, ha! yoyos have more of a danger element to them...
