| subject: | Re: DSL router/modems (was What does Fixpack 8610 do?) |
You are right, Herbert - I tried it on my eCS test system that I do not use for anything productive. While the Fixpak installs, I get an error message upon reboot that there is not enough disk space to process the locked files (LSI0006), a probably consequential error (SYS1201) from AFINET, and then a Trap E. No big deal, I'll re-install eCS. Too bad that it seems that I won't be able to use my new eCS 1.2 on a system where I want to use email - which includes my personal workstation. I am happy that I can use email again on my Warp system without re-installing Warp thanks to the downgrading possibility to 16 bit TCP/IP 4.0 in SMTP Fixpak WR08421. (By the way, this works with MTU 1500 or 1492 without difference.)
