PE>On the other hand, you may feel inhibited from asking for
PE>particular features because you didn't pay anything.
PE>However, I am more than happy to provide services if I can,
PE>so if you can think of a way that you won't feel inhibited
PE>from asking, without having to pay anything, I'm all ears!

I'll try and think of something. Of course with this setup, I feel
obliged to be polite to whoever I'm pointing off. What if I want to
start calling you a rascist fascist bastard?

AW> I thought the whole pointing process went very quickly, and I can't
AW> imagine why anyone who is paying STD phone rates wouldn't jump at the
AW> opportunity of becoming a point.

PE>Rod is basically a psycopath, as you can tell if you read
PE>his messages! One of the arguments he raises is that horror> the message appears (temporarily, ie ONE SINGLE DAY) in
PE> in THREE (3, yes, that's right
PE>folks 2+1) places at the same time, the inbound packet, the
PE>messagebase, then the QWK packet.

QWK packet? Surely only if he's getting mail by point and conventional
QWK means as well?

PE>The fact that the packet
PE>gets deleted automatically, the messagebase can be deleted
PE>if he's that much of a psychopath anyway seems to miss the
PE>mark a bit. Anyhow, he keeps something like 6 months worth
PE>of QWK packets on his hard disk, so I fail to see why 3
PE>times 1 day is such a major concern. Also, there is no way
PE>that he can write as many messages per day that he does
PE>unless he sits at his terminal 24 hours per day, but he
PE>manages anyway. I reckon he's permanently on PCP myself.

What's PCP? Is that the amphetamine also known as SPEED?
Ahhh, so Speed is Rod's pseudonym. Just like Whitemore is for me.

I don't know how he does it, although it's horses for courses when you
talk of hobbies. I know of triathletes that spend 5 hours a day in the
mindless pursuit of excellence in that field. Swimming 3-5ks a day,
running 10k and cycling 100k's a day. They think that is perfectly
normal. Spending 5 hours a day typing messages is certainly less harmful
and life shortening than that.
