I run PCBoard 15.3/25 on two computers connected via a Lantastic
network. One computer is running Desqview/386 and the other runs OS/2 Warp.
I've worked with DOS and Desqview for years, so I have no problems with it,
but I know just enough about OS/2 to be dangerous :-)
In trying to tweak PCBoard on OS/2 I have run into a problem.
CBoard
for OS/2 "shells out" to a DOS box to run DOS programs such as utilities and
doors. I'd like to be able to lower the IDLE_SENSITIVITY and other settings
n
these VDMs, but I can't seem to permanately change these DOS settings. They
always seem to open with the "default" settings (IDLE_SENSITIVITY=75, I want
30 or so). How does one change the "default" settings for DOS VDMs? I know
how to change the command prompts for DOS full screen and DOS boxes (and I
have), but they don't seem to affect the settings that PCBoard for OS/2 uses
when it shells out to a DOS box.
I read the FGA-OS2D FAQ, but it didn't specifically address this.
an
anyone help me out?
Thanks, Chuck
