LH> Questions?
Just one piece of advise on boring your own engine (three actually)...
1. Use a heavy duty electric drill (I burned up my cheepy $29.95 drill
trying to hone an engine block) or use an air powered model.
2. Use a recommended weight oil designed for doing a job like this.
3. Do not take off a whole lot of metal at once, and check the bore
measurements with a micrometer often, and make sure that top of
the bore is the same as the bottom of the bore. Also remember to
give the new pistons 0.002" (two thousandths of an inch) of
clearance of they either will not fit or will seize when the engine
warms up.
