Hello Paul!

All up it's taking about 9 megs, although the msgbase is expanding rapidly,
and 15 meg would seem be a fairly reasonable recommendation.

It's probably a bit early to give a detailed opinion as I'm only getting
time to browse the documention now, and I'll probably find some definite
likes and dislikes as I become more familar with the setup. Golded and FD
are enormously configurable, although the expense is that there is more of
a learning curve when compared to, say, OLX which any wombat could learn to
use. I've actually spent very little time mucking around with the setup
yet, but I'd say you need 2-3 hours of spare time. I've got to be honest
and say that I prefer a slick interface instead of manually editing a
config file, although I am going to try and get on top of golded in the
next few weeks.

Unless you have already updated it, the main thing that I think was
incorrect in point.txt was the paragraph on editing golded.tpl and adding
{at}quote & 'Alan.' This isn't needed because the default is already set
for that in 2.41. You've probably already seen the results of that, when I
signed a message Alan, then Alan.

Alan...
