I am sure all of you have seen the current, supposed to be final, draft of
the proposed policy revision.

Aside from my previous concerns about low percentages required to ratify
any future changes, section 8.7 disturbs me greatly as well.

As all can see, this section allows for a process to impeach a zone
coordinator -without- a policy violation.  In my oppinion, this is
riciculous, and opens the doors for a free for all on ZC's.

There is -always- someone screaming for the removal of the Z1C at some
point or other, as soon as somebody feels they have been rubbed the wrong
way.  Such a policy provision just opens the doors for chaos and never
ending wars amongst the ranks.

In the beginning, the -simple- policy changes that were proposed seemed
like a productive thing for Fidonet, however, with these afterthoughts
being added to what was originaly proposed, I no longer se it as such.

I would urge everybody to cast a negative vote against this draft if it is
indeed what is put out for a vote.
