I use the free Avast on a desktop PC with 8Gb of memory and a 3.1GHz i-5 cpu 
running Win7 HP Sp-1 64bit. I also use the pd MBAM with the Malicious 
Website Protection running in real time along with Malware Protection 
running in real time.
If I have the Avast Web Shield turned ON, when I type in FF, the typing is 
delayed enough to be irritating. Anyone else have that problem?
When I turn the Web Shield off, the problem is gone.  I really feel that the 
Avast Web Shield is not necessary or desirable as long as I am using MBAM 
with that feature running.
