| subject: | Re: Which? Router, Bridge, Switch, Hub? |
I have used both NetGear (non-wireless) and Linksys (Wireless-G)
router/switches successfully -- although I do have doubts about the
security of wireless networking, even with all the available security
features. (I don't use the wireless link in OS/2 because I haven't found
a driver for the PCMCIA card, but that machine is used mostly for
Windozzze anyway).
I see that Linksys now has a combo cable modem/router/switch with
wireless, but again there is unlikely to be an OS/2 driver for a card to
use in the laptop.
