that was one of the main reasons for looking at it.  If i'm running the bbs 
in 
the background and writing a letter with WordPerfect and the WP crashes it 
usually (not always) means a reboot.  And if i start running apps all over, 
all heck breaks loose.  I only run DOS (OpenDos recently) apps 
mostly...windows only for word processing and spreadsheets and the like, and 
even then, i would be willing to switch to OS/2 natives.  I guess i'm 
secretly 
starting to boycott Microsoft :)
