Hi Carol,
I lost a cat in October (and still miss her dreadfully) last year that
was a chocolate point Siamese/Himalayan (never can spell that right
so I have to let my spell checker catch it. LOL) cross. She had the
perfect qualities of each of her parents. I'm not a fancier of Siamese
personalities (no offense to those who are). Jaz was a wonderfully
loving, gentle, outgoing cat. Her fur was medium length, her eyes were
blue, blue, blue and not crossed in the least. She had a beautiful
face... We used to take her everywhere with us, even camping. If I had
realized when she was still young just how beautiful (temperament as
well as physical looks) she would turn out to be, I would have tried to
find a male cross and bred her at least once. With her looks and
personality, I think a new breed would have been a shoe in. Not sure I
could have let the kittens go though.
I rescued my new guy, Nikki, in February and he's such a card! We both
had some adjustment to go through but we're definitely bonded now. :)
I've never been owned by a male cat before and if they're all like
Nikki, they sure are different than females!
Take care,
Vikki
