Hello Rod!

One of the things I did last weekend was put in place automatic offline
reading. It seems to be working fine, and keeps backups of all the packets
for 21 days. The automated procedure would work like this - you dial in as
a point and poll for mail AND send me a file, your .REP. You should call
the packet PASSWORD.REP instead of tenmin.rep for security purposes. Also
the packet will arrive your end as PASSWORD.QWK instead of tenmin.qwk. You
can rename these things when you start/exit frontdoor. It will prepack the
mail at 7AM, and if there was no mail by then because of some problem, you
can log on manually at 6PM or whatever to get it. I have been prepacking
mail for my wife (not that she reads it!) all this week. Let me know if
you want to do it, and I'll make the change Saturday night. BFN.

Paul
