Hi Richard,

RG> John I hear good things about front carbon forks. I have never had

The ones I looked at ran from about $200 to $350. At this point
I am leaning to having a custom Marinoni frame made, they are very
resonable in price. I gave a local bike shop a wish list of
componants (Campy Veloce, American classic & TTT) to put on a
Marinoni frame and depending on how much it cost, I may add the
carbon fork much later. My upper torso is a bit long for my
leg length so I may need a steep seat tube angle to get my knees
in the right position over the spindles. I would like shorter
chain stays on my next bike to get the rear wheel in closer to
the seat tube. The reason I am thinking about the carbon fork
is to get back some of the vibration dampening I will loose with
the steep seat tube and shorter stays. The road bike I have
right now has too long of a wheel base for tight turns (102cm).
I did not order anything yet, so any other suggestions you may
think of could help!
Thank you
John O'Neill
