Hi Murray, When you wrote this you obviously had not received my message describing the underlying cause of your problem. Please incorporate my diagnosis in anything you submit to IBM. A quick-and-dirty workaround is to define __cplusplus immediately before you include and then undefine immediately afterwards - unless you are using C++ instead of C, in which case leave it defined. You can even add this tip to your article, if you want. For which magazine are you writing the article? Is it available south of the Mason-Dixon?
