Curious if you have heard of same problem with a Uniden 70XLT-symptoms almost sound the same. I have a hard time doing tedious work due to bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome. Can you give me some idea of how involved this procedure to reconnect the center conductor would be? Sounds simple, but I can't hold small parts, etc. Thanks.
