Well Robin, I disagree with you.  It's all well and good to wish every person 
who wanted a pet, would go to the local 'pound' but some folks enjoy pedigree 
type cats and dogs.

Perhaps it escaped you, that this was a JOKE.  I often refer to my 3 cats as 
'fleabags'.  That doesnt mean they actually have fleas.  I also call them 
furballs.  That doesnt mean they barf on the carpet every 20 mins.
I am quite sure a responsible breeder like Ivy would NOT take a breeder mate 
pet for her own cats, that was *literally* crawling with fleas.  It indicates 
the other person was giving shoddy care and possibly faked papers.
