Seems even "Dear Abby" is finially "GETTING IT!"
In I believe it was her column two days ago, she admitted that the numbers of 
men abused by women would  QUOTE "SHOCK many people" unquote!
She also stated that many times its unreported due to the affected mens shame 
if reporting they had been abused by a women!
 
Hey Ric and Mike,  doesnt this sound like what alot of here have been saying 
all along, but keeps getting denied and or put down as not being serious 
becuase the bruise count is different and the man is not injured as severly 
as a woman.  What also happened to the *verbal abuse is just as serious and 
devastating as physical abuse* propoganda put out by the liberals and the 
feminists for so long!  Seems when it starts to finially being recogonized 
that MEN are being abused by women that only the buise count counts and 
verbal abuse is only words!  Seems funny when all these years there were the 
constant jokes about the nagging wife, or the wife who was a shrew, or the 
rolling pin or frying pan to the head jokes or the kick in the balls jokes, 
the slap to the face jokes for offending a woman, etc, and ALL of these if 
applied to a woman would be considered *serious* abuse and hardly a joking 
matter.
 
I guess verbal abuse is serious only when a woman is on the recieving end but 
when a man is on the recieving end, he *deserves* it!
 
Now if we could just do something about those *DEADBEAT MOMS*!
 
Hey, since its now starting to be recognized, albight slowly, that MEN are 
being abused in "shocking" numbers by women, than a "VIOLENCE against MEN" 
bill should be introduced in Congress!  I mean hey, dont we men desearve 
equal protection against those women who are abusive?  This bill should also 
set aside monies for educating the public to these abusive women, and 
providing for mens centers and supporting single fathers, and providing for 
prompt collection of court ordered child support from deadbeat moms as well 
as providing severe penalties for these deadbeat moms who fail to meet their 
child support obligations, regardless of ability to pay!
