Some LX motherboards (such as the Tyan Tiger) socket up to 1 GIG of
RAM. (4 DIMMs, 512 meg of SDRAM or 1024 meg of EDO, ECC, etc RAM.)
However I read an article (I THINK it was at www.heise.de, but I could
be wrong.) that said NO Intel Chip or Chipset will cache more than
512 meg of RAM. They REALLY ragged on intel for it too! :-)
