Yes, you have accurately answered your own question - but there's more to it.

Let's suppose that in 2024 there's a conservative movement that does this:
1) Create a pamphlet that demonizes Democrats, filled with conservative op-eds
2) Staple the propaganda to a mail-in ballot
3) Mail one of these babies to every registered American voter in the world

Will you be ok with that? That's basically what the media and Democrats did.
But here we are saying "We made sure that everybody can vote."

I'll state the obvious - there were no printed liberal pamphlets, but the
media served as that pamphlet.
