This is not exactly what you were asking for, but scanning with OS/2
(and WinOS2 - without any other driver!) works really well with HP SCSI
scanners and the Danmar driver SCANOS2.SYS (I use version 1.20 from 1993
and a HP ScanJet 4c, formerly had a ScanJet IIp). You can find those
scanners really cheap on eBay and in similar auctions, the same is true
for SCSI adapters if you don't have one.
I use Calera Wordscan version 3 for text recognition under WinOS2 and
prefer it over Recognita 2, the last proprietary OS/2 version. To scan
in graphical objects, I use Galleria 2.31 (Hobbes).

OS/2 or eCS that will let me use this device with my setup?
