Thanks Michael Duffy for your msg about Re: hpsMemory Bitmap que, on Monday, 11-21-1994! Sorry, I did not realize what you were doing. Basically, just off the cuff, I would suggest that you convert your sprites into bitmaps internally. Then you just do a bitblt to the target bitmap that is your drawing surface! Would that do for you? As far as OS/2 being unwieldy for games, that is a given. A shared GUI is not a good place for games that require that they own the hardware. That has nothing to do with OS/2 at all, its just a fact of life. Now, if the machine is some monster machine, then the speed will make up for the overhead of a shared GUI resource. Basically you might want to look into the DIVE interface if your needs are that high. Basically MS had to provide a similar interface because of the same GUI related problems. ___ X KWQ/2 1.2b X This tagline stolen by KWQ Mail/2. --- Maximus/2 2.02* Origin: Fernwood - your source for OS/2 files!
