subject: Search & Replace HRt in

FM> So I gave alt-F2, which popped up (or pulled down) a menu

FM> What's the trick to doing this?
Ctrl+A pops up the "Compose" window, then you hit
Enter and you will see [HRt] entered. Same for
entering Tab. I don't know if there are any others,
but if you can't enter a key, try Compose.
BTW, here's a trick using Compose I stumbled
across. Suppose you want to enter the Greek letter pi.
You can use Ctrl+W and locate it. It's 8,33. Once you
know that, you can use Alt+A and enter 8,33 to get it.
However, that requires keypad (or number row), comma,
keypad. An easier way is to stay on the keypad and
enter 8.33 - the period is accepted just as a comma is
and you get the desired result.
