DaOW> The best I can say is; I work 90 percent of the time from

DaOW> completely destroy the rhythm of the work by you to stop,
DaOW> go back and put quotes around the name.

seems to me that using quotes on the names all the time is one way to avoid
that problem... it is but a simple habit to get into ;)

DaOW> It is a stupid Windows Luser's hide the actual working
 DaOW> from the user approach.

errr... that's fecal material, too... remember, OS/2 was around and using
spaces in file and directory names long before windows ever did ;)

DaOW> Have you ever done any directory manipulation with REXX
DaOW> programming? Spaces in directory names tears it to shreds!

yes, i have... that is not a problem with proper quoting and coding practises...

DaOW> Is that a good enough start?

i reckon... just forget i ever said anything... it is, afterall, your
system and you that ends up loosing out on stuff that others enjoy every
day...
