Hi Stephan,

With the SENT mail, note outbound timestamp then do following:
1. Select Message| Edit Message as New
2. Delete all attachments
3. Insert at beginning [original message timestamp was .....]
4. Save as Draft
5. Exit composition
6. Delete original in SENT
7. Drag copy from DRAFTS to SENT

With received mail, follow the same procedure, but as the sender will
now show as *you*, insert Sender's name at beginning of subject line,
e.g. "** Mike O'Connor [edited]** Re:Mozilla question".

Procedure is very quick! This still allows you to search messages etc.,
within Mozilla.
If you're not bothered about the formatting/searching, you can just
[CTRL-A]+[CTRL-INSERT] on message body and paste into any file you
want. Unfortunately, since NS461, one can no longer select multiple
messages [contiguous or not e.g. a particular thread] and save the
amalgamated bodies into a single file with Mozilla/IBMWB for later editing.
