GL+There are many ISPs using devices capable of hosting an x2 connection, I
use
+one. While the term "modem" may be technically incorrect,
+it's still widely used within the industry to describe the
+device (in my ISPs case USR Total Control racks). Bob J.
+and several others use USR I-Modems to provide x2 host
+connections. As I understand it, both the TC and I-modem
+can be upgraded to V.90. Yes, the host side must be a
+digital connection, most of us realize that. Yes, the
+traditional "modem" hooks to an analog line (analogue for
+Rick C.) and can't host an x2 session, most of us know that
+as well. I think you're "splitting hairs" with the above
+statement.
I know but I got in trouble assuming that since he said modem and he
meant modem.
