Hello Wayne -

TW>>> YES Knoppix is an Interesting Look into the LINUX world,
TW>>> and I have t ies it twice with a Third try pending, but
TW>>> it is not really a conten er for the long term. ON boot
TW>>> up for the latest version are you given a Choice of
TW>>> installing on the Hard Drive plainly in the opening
TW>>> screens? IF not it is only a amusing toy and not going to
TW>>> get very far.

->> I'll go out on a limb here and predict that KNOPPIX and
->> other 'livecd' versions of Linux will kill off Linspire
->> dead dead dead (and forgotten).

WC> "Point and Click Linux" is supposed to be good and
WC> available at Barnes and Noble for about 25 bucks for book
WC> and CD.

WC> I think the release date was November 04

People want a PlayStation experience where you put in the CD,
turn it on, it says "Loading ..." then you start pushing
buttons, crashing around, and blowing things up until you're
tired/bored then you just push the OFF button. No waiting to
shutdown etc. just OFF. :-)
