...can't speak for "harm", but I'm with you, Sandra. For molds of any kind
(that I have ever had to treat) my preference is dusting sulphur (tho I've
never had to use this on anything but roses (usually with Black Spot or Sooty
Mold, *outside*, of course :). I use a mild bleach water when making
Geramium cuttings (this includes *all* kinds of Geranium... scented as well),
as a preventative (for same condition). I can tell you that Garlic is a
natural fungicide, and I have used this in the greenhouse, as well as at
home, as an ingredient in my spray (and, come to think of it, one year this
is what we used on our geraniums, as we had a fungal blight to deal with).
It would be one of my first choices, were I to find the need. Also, Rosemary
water is perported to be good to prevent 'damping off' (of course, this would
be for seedlings/transplants).

( man, am I glad to hear *that*! :)
SP> Couldn't find it that quickly : maybe Wl-Ski has it,
Nope, sorry, I don't. But I wouldn't mind adding it to *my* collection. :)
I always manage to find space for another card, in the box for "antidotes".
I much prefer the 'natural' to the chemical :) I've never have worried
about the possibilities of OD'ing on garlic spray, but I can't say the same
for the stuff with all the "warnings" on the bottles. This is not to say
that 'natural' isn't to be used with caution. If something *kills* a little
bug, it has the potential to *kill* something bigger, so don't think I'm
saying that just because something is "natural", it can be used with abandon,
because that is just not true! However, Garlic doesn't fall in this
tagory.
cheers,
WL Sakowski
