Hi Paul, it depends on the cash situation, for a good cheap practice amp
that gives you value for money, try and dig up an old Ross MG10, top little
practice amp.

Again, depends on your cash situation, you will be looking at big bucks for
a valve amp, especialy if it is a small practice amp, electronics the best
way to go for anything under 20 amps.
