JP> TW> "You Need to Create an MS-DOS Boot Partition to set up Windows" JP> Very strange as normally it, that CD, would do a format. In a totaly automatic Install designed for the NON Computer aware it is needed. Adn cthat is the way Most Manfactirers editions of the Operating CD is. And of course the sometimes supplies Restore CD is even more so. I was always courious abotru rthe apparently there being Two Setup's o n the Win98 CD in the CAB FILE folder. NOW that I have tried Booting form the CD I can see why. One for a almost ful lautomatic instal and the other for a Technicians manual computer Prep install. --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ This note from El Cajon California USA* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 123/140 500 106/2000 633/267 |
