| subject: | MS Word for OS/2 |
G'day Lewin Edwards, In a message on , you said :
HM>> That's Word for _Windows_. Word for DOS had all versions in
HM>> between, too. Word 5 for DOS is a bound OS/2 and DOS app.
LE> Last time I looked, Word for DOS =was= Word for Windows,
LE> with a SAE (Single Application Environment) of Windows.
Not the Word for dos I used.
Word 5.0 and I believe 5.5 were definately NOT word for windows in any
shape or form and had nothing whatsoever to do with windows.
the first versions of Word for Windows did come with a runtime version of
windows which allowed it run directly from dos, perhaps your are confusing
with this.
