Thanks. I have no idea either. But, it's happened again. Perhaps it's 
time to move to a different ISP. Even though that is a major PITA. 
P'rhaps a broadband connection?

One of our original ISPs was acquired by a larger ISP and eventually 
would up in Earthlink. There is so little demand for the service (almost 
all of their old customers quit) that they have dwindled from 6 dial-up 
numbers to one with a roll-over.

There have been a number of reason that I have tried to use e-mail for 
my picks. But, I am confident that _those_ issues have been solved and I 
will continue to use Phydeaux for future weeks.

Good luck on straightening out Earthlink. You'll need it.
