CA>TW> Well I suspect the Typical Computer would undeerstand that CA>TW> a little more then having it say FDISK. For "Prepair" most CA>TW> would think Why NOT? For "FDISK" their reaction would be CA>TW> "WHAT"? CA>If I programmed that message into the install it would be more CA>like: "I'm not seeing _anything_ on this hard drive which means CA>I will now make changes to this hard drive that will completely CA>remove any files that _are_ there. If I am wrong to do this CA>next operation press CANCEL". Of course. But rembember MicroSoft has never been straight forward with theri uustomers. Rembember way bac ki nthe early DOS years there was no warning when doing a format. I know some that accidently erases their Hard thinking they were going to format a Floppy becasue C: was the DEfault if you didn't specify a drive. And as I said there was no message of any kind and as soon as you hit the enter key after typing format it took off down the path of NO return. --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ This note from El Cajon California USA* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 123/140 500 106/2000 633/267 |
