But DNS is a requirement for the Internet, not Fidonet..

I point out that a policy complaint cannot provide you relief, take Scott
out of the nodelist, he still leaves the cname record in and you are still
under distress.

It aint any different with you having made a bitmap image of me in effigy,
flying it as wallpaper on your windows desktop, advertising that fact, me
asking you to take it off, you refusing..

I could not seek relief from Policy 4 because you refused to respect my
rights and wishes.

You mean you got into an argument that spiraled out of control into a
pissing match, with you making demands and him giving you a demonstration.

Fidonet Policy does not mandate that its members must like another or agree
on whatever.

Fidonet Policy does not cover how he configures his DNS server.

Fidonet Policy cannot provide you with relief. (in this instance)

Perhaps change the tone of your argument, make no demands and ask Scott nicely?

Or as I stated, make your case with the authority who can provide you
relief, his ISP or upstream provider.
