123c54ce6f65 tech Hello Tom - CA>>>> You get the same effect by pouring STP into the intake CA>>>> while racing the engine in your driveway. :-) TW>>> YES there are several chemicals yuo can poor i nthe TW>>> intake to "Blow" out any carbon accumilication. CA>> Michigan farmers (some) apparently used half water half CA>> fuel oil. TW> Kerosene and water was popular. As is just plain water if TW> used in moderation. TW>>> Adn I understand water/Alcohol injection will fairly well TW>>> prevent it. It also alloes you to run soem of the high TW>>> Compression super cars on the Junk they sel lnow. TW>>> Particualrly for those that cannot afford to run Aviation TW>>> Gas. In fact I rembember an article on how to make yuor TW>>> own using a Winshield Washer pump and two Nozzles with a TW>>> couple of vacuum switches to make one. CA>> Alcohol is problematic in the north where temperatures CA>> drop too low for alcohol to want to ignite. :-) TW> you needed the alcohol though to prevent your injection TW> water form Freezing!! :-) :-) And I think most of the TW> benifit was the Water flashing into Steme, a Very power TW> full force, and blasting the small carbon particles away. I was told that water-injection was popular on taxi cabs at one time. I've never seen one with water-injection but that's what I was told. Supposedly helped with the gas mileage. When younger I used to clean my spark plugs using STP oil treatment poured down my carburetor. It worked well and saved me some elbow grease. :-) If you enjoy 'car talk' there is a PBS radio show that you can stream and listen to online at: http://www.cartalk.com/Radio/Show/online.html I enjoy it usually. A bit tongue-in-cheek but informative at the same time. > > , , > o/ Charles.Angelich \o , > __o/ > / > USA, MI < \ __\__ --- * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ...
