In a message dated 05-01-03, Lars Wiberg said to Holger Granholm: Hej Lars, HG> Does your friend want to setup a PCBoard BBS on the Internet? LW>That's the one. In the olden days, I ran a PCBoard BBS and now with LW>the invention of TCP/IP Mailers, BBS Systems and so on, I would like LW>to get a BBS set up again. PCBoard would be my obvious first choice, LW>since it robbed me of so much time way back when :-) I know exactly what you mean. I too put so much time in translating the textfile to swedish and finnish plus other configurations that I will not change the BBS-software, especially since v15.2 came with files for OS/2. Now running v15.22 for OS/2. I also have the beta version of v15.4 but that requires again editing of the PCBTEXT files so I have skipped that :-( HG> Excuse my ignorance but I don't know anything about Argus. LW>Argus is a Windows TCP/IP Mailer program made by Ritlabs. Thanks for the info about Argus. That tells me that you want to operate the BBS under Windows. I'm sorry that I can't help you there because Windows isn't included in my religion. However, I think you may get all the help and info you need to set up the BBS from this echo. There are lots of (at least have been) helpful people here. Ha en bra dag, Holger ___ * MR/2 2.30 * 486 to 286 conversion kit now available.
