Now that's a real bug; but the first I've heard of it in all
these years.  Come to think of it, the first I've heard of
since at least 5 years ago when that rascal Bryan Turner
tried to play as the $6,000,000 man.  All of my IGM's
made him the $6 man :)

Anyway, never expected that anyone would earn that much in
the forgery. So what I expect happened is you must have
gotten another raise which put your pay higher than
32767 gold; that would have caused an overflow and the
negative amount.
