CS> Robin, I understad you are upset, but lets be real for a
CS> moment. Ivy allows a cat to have 1 litter, and finds homes
CS> for all the kittens.
CS> It isnt our job to abuse her in the echo. Unlike many who
CS> just abandon the kittens, she finds them homes. She is a
CS> responsible cat owner.
CS> It's the *irresponsible* ones you need to be angry at, not Ivy.

For every dog or cat owner who feels that it's acceptable to breed a
litter as long as "I find homes for them all!", I'd like to point out that
each of those goes to a home that might otherwise adopt an animal from a
shelter, and because they don't, that animal is euthanized.
To blindly close your eyes and pretend that just because an issue hasn't
directly manifested itself in your life the issue doesn't exist is the height
of ignorance.
Might I also point out that in her original message, when she talked of
breeding Golgie for the first time, she told about how the stud of choice was
a "flea factory" from outside? And yet, in a later message, when asked why
she has chosen to inbreed them, when there are so many viable cats out there
who are not of Goldie's line, she expressed concern about fleas and such? It
seems like she is being somewhat hypocritical there; not an indication to me
(at least) of a "responsible cat owner."
... "Bother," said Pooh, as the raptor shook him by the throat.
