ahh... hummm... GIGO will run on 386 and higher... the problem is that
GIGOSMTP won't... for email stuffs, that's a problem... however, if you can
get news or mailing lists "converted" to .BAG files, GIGO can eat
them just like it does with "regular" stuff it processes...

well, i do run OS/2 as the OS but the BBS and many of the utils are still
DOS based... at any time, GIGO or GIGOP may be executed for processing...
that decision being made by which script is running at the time... the same
goes for my mail tosser, too... it has DOS and OS/2 versions... 

i'm not sure what the thread was about, ATM... i see "water gate"
in the minimal header and can only associate that with gating of email and
news...
