TW>TA>Thanks Tom. I tried one at MCI awhile back but it wouldn't load
TW>TA>a copy of Legacy genealogy software I use, so I also passed for
TW>TA>now. Guess I will try to rescue my OEM XP HD that got bombed when
TW>TA>I attempted to install SuSE 9.2 instead of the 9.0 I was useing.

TW> I wpould NOT have expected it to load ANY windows program myslef. What
TW> lead you to believe it would run Legacy??
TW>Incidently the LINUX world does have it's own Genealogy program.

I have tried GRAMPS and found it less satisfactory than Legacy and/or
my old MS-DOS Family History System by Phil Brown, that is my main
genealogy data base (that Brown has decided to not upgrade to today's
Windows O/Ss unfortunately 8-(

I wonder what genealogy program you find most useful to you?

Ciao. Ack.
