What is your reference to "commander Pro" or "WinPower" ? Are these the Windoze programs that come with the hardware (ie not Lone Peak Automation software ?). > My 400VA unit cost me AUS$120, since they have come down to AUS$99 if you shop around. > Looks like you've got a pretty constant voltage / frequency there. Haven't measured here but I would expect about the same. I've seen fluctuations of up to 30 volts and 10 Hz in one part of Scotland when I worked there !! > >Cheers/2 > Hi Ed, Yes those two programs mentioned were the 9x & full 32-bit Windows/AIX/Linux/BSD/Mac versions that are downloadable from the web and use the serial key quoted on the Blazer *00 VA userguides for activation. Having now hooked two complete systems up to the Blazer 800VA - load increased from 38% to 58-61% or about 285W. 800VA equates to approx 800*0.6=480W, the 0.6 comes from the cosine of the phase-angle difference between mains and AVR output from the inverter in the unit. Your 400VA can deliver ~240W equivalent without overloading it. I e-mailed Armin at LPA to see whether he could determine which of his products might be relevant. There are four currently - UPSMON2/UPSMON B/UPSMON C and the latest beta - UPSDAEMN 09D. It just so happens that he acknowledged my e-mail from Indonesia where he's currently on vacation, advising he'll investigate when he returns to work. -- Regards, Mike Failed the exam for -------------------- MCSE - Minesweeper Consultant and Solitaire Expert -------------------- [ISP blocks *.exe, *.cmd, *.bat, *.reg attachments] [Please use zipped versions of above] ------------------------ Yahoo!
