I gather you are a qualified linux user of some considerable experience. Do you and other linuxers feel Michael Robertson is stealing from your efforts developeing linux? Do you think he is an impediment to the increased use of linux? On a more personal level; I had a fairly usefull SuSE 9.0 running for a bit over a year (shareing a W98se on a seperate partition by Partition Magic and its dual boot up facility, and the OEM XP-Home on its own HD)in a Systemax Tiger 970553 with 1.8gz P4 with its original 40 GB Maxtor and OEM XP-Home. Installed new hard drive with partitioning established by the Western Digital facilities supplied. After ghosting the W98se to its partition we downloaded SuSE 9.1 iso from Novell, and burned a install cd by nero. Unfortunately when we YASTed the SuSE 9.1 into the alternate partiton, it bombed the W98se (and the OEM XP 9-(. I have my own W98se installation cd so we managed to recover that partition (haven't tried to restore the XP yet) but all else was kaput. Any idea what may have happened? Thanks for your consideration David. Ciao, Ack. How much does regular gasoline cost north of the 48 these days. Thanks for your consideration David.
