That's because the writers didn't know they existed. That's why they thought 
the local flood described in the bible is a global flood - simple ignorance.

Well in that case you have proved that your god doesn't exist as "no proof" = 
lie. You have provided no proof of his existence, therefore, by YOUR VERY OWN 
LOGIC, there is no god and anyone, namely you, who claims the existence of 
one is a LIAR.
Your own logic exposes your very own lies. Freud would've been proud of you 
(as he slammed the cell door on his way out).
