MB>CN>I am interested in what others have to face when it comes to
MB>CN>home schooling in their state. I have been told that PA has one of the
MB>CN>best laws protecting our rights. What do others face?
We are now in NC but recently moved here from VA. VA was great, there
were three options with several choices under each. We went "Religious
Exemption" because we really believe it is our God-given right to
"...raise up our children in the way they should go...". As such, we
legally did not exist.
Here in NC, Home schoolers come under the dept. of Non-Public education
vice the Dept. of Public education, Not so bad, though. We are
required to test, though we can test our children ourselves. Other
than that, not much else required. And you do NOT have to have test
results sent in, just available if ever asked for them.
SC, our very dear neighbor to the south, now has was pretty bad, but
has some recent progress.
God Bless, ~John
We all display many faces, but 2 your own self B TRUE!
