     /_____\    or even whether your dialing (Touch-tone or Pulse)
    /_____/ \   but I've had no problem with dialing out and establishing
   /         \  a good connection, under adverse weather conditions..
                from 10 degrees with Ice hanging on the trees and phone
                line to several weeks of 100 plus temperatures.
                using a 14.4k and a 33.6k USR Robotics Modem and Touch-tone
                with Telix for Dos..
                and I've connected with friends in Alaska, Northern Canada
                and Japan who have far colder Temperatures that you do in
                Massachusetts..
