Thanks Lynn.  I thought as much, as I clearly saw the race between the two
tighening up over the last few years.   Now I do think that IBM should worry
about the competition, especially in the cache area.  2MB nowadays just
isn't very much.

As an intersting sidenote, have you seen much difference between HPFS386
with 2MBs cache or i.e. 4MBs.  I haven't seen much using IOSTONE and 
several other benchmarks?  I wonder why as particularly IOSTONE should
take advantage of the additional cache.
