I'll be dropping about nine networks (that will help some).

Question I have: whenever I log into the board, I see the ANSI color, but
nothing but garbage for the high-ASCII characters in the ANSI files.  Do
you or anyone else know how to fix that?

I'm running Mandrake 9.1.  If you want to see the board in action (it's
still being worked on), SSH (not telnet-you'll get my OS/2 board) to
midnightshour.org and take a peek.

Any and all help is appreciated.  This is rather exciting for me.  I looked
at all of the other Linux-based BBSes (to include the new Maximus/Linux)
and just decided MBSE was the one for me. :)
