It isnt that. It appears to just be a Maximus bug. I had one on another
OS/2 Maximus BBS just stop giving new messages spontaneously, with no
tagging of any kind anywhere near the stop date by weeks. It appears to
just loose track of the last read pointer, presumably its set higher
than the highest by far and so even when new ones are added, they still
are much lower than the dud last read value.
