I love what you said about programming on 16k. Not to pull out the beards and false teeth but my Dad's first computer was the Sol Terminal 20 which had... 2... K of ram. :D So the first 1K was used for system operations and the 2nd K was used for programs and what not that you wanted to run. In time Dad got the Sol up to 48K and all was amazing. But even without all that the computer had functionality and purpose. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v7.0* Origin: Prison Board BBS Mesquite Tx www.rdfig.net (1:124/5013) SEEN-BY: 15/0 19/36 34/999 90/1 104/57 106/201 116/18 120/331 123/140 128/2 SEEN-BY: 153/7715 218/700 222/2 229/426 230/150 152 240/1120 250/1 261/38 100 SEEN-BY: 266/512 267/155 275/100 282/1031 1056 291/1 111 320/119 219 340/400 SEEN-BY: 342/13 396/45 633/0 267 280 281 408 410 412 640/1384 712/620 848 886 SEEN-BY: 770/1 801/161 189 2320/105 3634/12 5020/1042 5053/58 @PATH: 124/5013 5014 396/45 261/38 712/848 633/280 267 |
