Dear Friends,
If you care about your health, care about the quality of your life,
and want to find out why tens of millions of people are now practicing
Yan Xin Qigong around the world, please read on.
A common characteristic of qigong is the simultaneous training of
the body and the mind. The dual cultivation of personality and essence
is the main content of traditional qigong. Its style consists of both
movements and stillness, and its method is characterized by the
combination of the mind (consciousness), qi (bioenergy), the body,
and the spirit.
Traditional Qigong is based on the principle of Virtue. Only by
emphasizing virtue, being virtuous, and maintaining virtue, and with
benign virtuous heart, virtuous character, and virtuous action can we
achieve harmony with our surroundings and meet the three required
states for practicing qigong: calm, tranquil, and natural. Virtue is the
golden key to enter the gate of qigong.
The Chinese Traditional Qigong is represented today by Dr. Yan Xin,
a physician and qigong scientist from Sichuan province, China. He
inherits the traditional qigong from about 30 advanced long-living
qigong masters who taught him qigong since he was four years old.
Best known as "the miracle doctor" in China, Dr. Yan has, using his
qigong power, performed many seemingly-miraculous healings and
conducted healing lectures with audience ranging from thousands to
tens of thousands. Qigong research performed by Dr. Yan in
collaboration with other scientists were instrumental in
making qigong an officially recognized medical treatment in China.
Yan Xin Qigong is an advanced Chinese internal qigong technique
that, through special means and training methods, helps practitioners
learn to harness "qi". As it provides mental and physical training it
helps one access latent potential, cultivate mental and physical energy,
good
character, and a healthy lifestyle. These techniques enhance wisdom,
reduce stress, increase happiness and improve work efficiency. Yan Xin
Qigong practice promotes a way of knowing that strengthens and increases
awareness of the connection between mind and body, self and others, and
self with the universe. This training helps people overcome challenges
such as individual illness, individual and social stresss, and social
conflict.
Our society as a whole is searching for solutions to allleviate the
tangled web of social problems we presently face. Enormous advances in
science and technology have created a modern society that is rapidly
evolving. Yet, we are encountering an increasing number of problems that
cannot be effectively dealt with by science and technology alone. These
problems include persistent terminal diseases such as cancer, AIDS, and
chronic fatigue syndrome; as well as serious human conflicts within and
among different societies, and the conflict between human beings and
Nature. Perhaps reestablishing , strengthening, and increasing the
awareness of the link between human beings and the natural world can
offer new insights on the solutions to these problems. Because of its
emphasis on virtue and harmony between human beings and the universe,
Yan Xin Qigong seems to offer a realistic way to help us meet these
challenges.
