WC>-> WC>Called a shop today.
WC>-> WC>They have a 600 MHz Whitebox on hand right now.
WC>-> WC>I was almost out the door to write them a check on the spot!
WC>-> WC>139 dollars total.

WC>-> That is a nice price. I haven't checked my favorate spot for used
WC>-> computers lately though. Back a couple of years ago I was paying $99
WC>-> to $120 for 450's and 500's
WC>-> How many ISA Slots/PCI Slots/Serial Ports???

 yuo raised my Couriosity so I checked my old source of used computers.
 All they has was IBM machines, I perfer Generic machines myslef
 althouhg a HP or Compaq have worked out quite well for me in the past.
The 600 to 800 IBM's were priced from $89 to $149. They had typical
memory and HD sizes form their era.

In the New area I did see a deal on a Bare Bones machine(No
HD/CD/Floppy) with 1.8 gig Celron CPU, 300 Watt mid tower, and 128 Meg
memory for $129

The next best deal, Particualrly for a LINUX machine, was a 800 AMD
Duron, 300 watt tower, 40 gig Hard Drive, 48X CD, 1.44 floppy and 128
Meg Memory for $162

$229 will get you a 1.8 Intel Celron, 300 watt tower, 256
Meg Memory, 80 gig HD, 1.44 Floppy, Combo DVD/CDRW Drive.
